The latest news from Bloody Disgusting, Warner Bros. is continuing the horror genre with a sequel to the Shinning that originally starred Jack Nicholson and a remake on the 1990 film The Witches.
Having just recently watched the Shinning I thought the movie was great at building suspense and it was truly a one of a kind film. Although I never once thought about a continuation, even with the way it ended. However, I am a little curious on how they are going to do it. The film is titled Doctor Sleep starring Alex Essoe as Wendy Torrance and Ewan McGregor as the adult version of Danny Torrance. It will release later this year in November.
Now moving onto the upcoming The Witches remake. It is being produced by Guillermo Del Toro and Alfonso Cuaron. I've heard so many stories from J Hooligan how this film used to be the Hocus Pocus of its time. Now is the time to get spun up on the original before the remake comes out in October of 2020.
